Why Students Quit School?

This essay discusses why some students quit school.Is it possible to get a good job after completing school education? Some people are of the view that schooling is a stepping stone towards getting a good job and have secure and prosperous future financially. The fact is that even those students who complete their school education at top struggle to find good jobs. Thus, it proves that completion of school is not the only factor which can affect students’ possibility of getting a good job after they complete it. There are other important factors that are involved when it comes to getting a good job. Some students quit school because they become disheartened by repeating the year in similar grade. Students study hard but even just failure in a course or two causes them to repeat the entire grade. This makes them feel bad and they are forced to think that way to waste money on something that is not worth it. Repeating similar academic level every year leads to waste of time, money and other resources.

Some students quit school because of intimate relationships. They get into a serious relationship and eventually decide to marry. Some girls become pregnant and they find it hard to pursue education afterward. Being a parent is not an easy task as there are too many responsibilities. Attending school being a parent can lead them to neglect their children which can be detrimental to the health of a child. Therefore, they think it is better to quit school once and for all so that they can concentrate on other major issues in life.Some students get into the wrong company. They become addicted to drugs and under the influence of drugs they find it hard to carry on with education. There are also those students who are naturally very talented and business oriented.

They start believing that instead of wasting so many years in school it is better for them to invest the money into a business. Quitting school is not something new as many students do it for various reasons. One of the most popular people in the world like Bill Gates has quit school and went on to become a real dominant force in the world of information technology. Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world but he did not complete his education.
