No correlation is to be found between situational variables and the transformational leadership behaviour. The underlying notion is the main element on which the theory is dependent mostly; where, almost in all types of scenarios, similar behaviour of the transformational leader can be seen. Although it was assured in the theory of Bass that for both of the firm and the followers, transformational style is effective in all types of scenarios. To guarantee this perspective, a different number of studies were carried out by Bass.
These studies covered different companies worldwide and used different scenarios and authority levels. Conversely, it can be argued that it was proposed by different theorists that an efficient relationship between the followers and the leader can be formed if the situational variable is involved within the transformational style. Along with this, in comparison to technical foundations, a preference has been given to entrepreneurial culture with the unbalanced atmosphere by the anticipated situations. However, only a limited number of studies has perceived these elements, while the requirement of substantial evidence related to important variables still prevails. It will be quite fruitful if the intermediary variables are investigated for the different scenario with respect to transformational behaviour.
Further, it can be concluded that variances are presented with respect to each situation and each type of transformational behaviour. In fact, it would be better if just one specific type of transformational behaviour is applicable to all types of situations.
Consequently, it can be argued that for the purpose of identification of situational intermediary behaviour, rely on appropriate measures for the leadership behaviour, like diaries and observation can be more effective in comparison to the questionnaire. It can be further argued that in order to generate viable information about the aftermath variables, mediating variables, the behaviour of a leader, and situational variables, liberated foundations must be involved in the research.
Field-test is one of the best methods for testing different types of transformational behaviour and their impacts, as a limited number of field experiments are available. Moreover, there is no sufficient amount of research is available where the situational and mediating variables have been evaluated.
