Essay: Teaching the concepts of multiplication

In the study of arithmetic, there are four basic operations involved – adding, subtraction, division and multiplication.

This paper sets out to present a guide for teaching the fundamental concepts starting with the simple facts and proceeding gradually to the more complex aspects of multiplication. The rationale of this study is to enable teacher foster a spirit of enthusiasm amongst the student to enhance their comprehension of the subject, which they often deem difficult and complex.
