Osama bin Laden was born in Saudi Arabia on March 10, 1957 in a newly wealthy non royal family (cited in Global Security, 2009). Bin Laden was worried about the plight of Muslims all over the world since its child hood. He was impressed by Abdullah Azzam, who provided the ideological bases of al-Qaeda and Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was the chief deputy of his party after the 9/11 attacks. In 1980, he aggressively started warfare, first from Afghanistan, against the aggression of the Soviet Union and then against the U.S. In 1984, he along with his colleagues, established an organization named the “Services Office”, which became the forerunner of al-Qaeda. Bin Laden strongly protested the ruling Saudi kingdom because it allowed the United States to make its base station on Saudi soil.
Then Bin Laden moved his party to Sudan where Islamic fundamental party came into power. Al-Qaeda employed experienced persons of the Afghan war and get on a lot of projects aimed at providing the financial support to the jihad activities. Al-Qaeda continued to provide training and money to many terrorist Islamic groups around the globe.
In the year of 1994, the Saudi government cancelled citizenship of Bin laden and squeezed his property and force him to leave the county. Al-Qaeda is blamed to blow up two American embassies located in Africa in 1998.After this incident, Osama bin Laden become international notorious personality for its terrorist attacks. After the event of 9/11, 2001, the U.S. intelligence agencies immediately blamed Bin Laden and his party for this catastrophe. After that, American air force stroked the camps of bin Laden and Taliban in Afghanistan. Since then, he used to hide here and there. He sporadically releases his tapes both audio and video, to urge his supporters ( cited in Global Security, 2009). Bin laden and his organization think that U.S. is responsible for all the problems of Muslim world and there is no way to forbid the U.S. from its activities except violence, suicide bombing and terrorist attacks at the strategic places both in the U.S. and its embassies outside the country. He used the name of Islam to achieve his goal and to motivate the youth of the Muslim world.
