Event management requires a high degree of engagement and commitment on the part of the employees of the event management company which is why it is extremely important for the leadership to exercise motivation approaches that are adequately suited for the motivation of the human resource.

It is important to highlight at this point that Motivation can be divided into two types which are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. In the current case, it would be beneficial to the organization if both types of motivation are incorporated in the strategy. However, it is even more important to mention that the company shall have to establish the manner in which the employees are motivated as well (Dess, Lumpkin, & Eisner, 2007).. The fact that the company in question is quite small shall put a significant degree of burden on the human resource and in order to acquire the objective of maximizing the clients’ positive exposure by improving their charitable and social standing within the community, a significant degree of consistency in operations shall be required which can only be achieved if the human resource of the organization has been well motivated by the leadership.

This is important in light of the fact that the in the scenario of an Event Management Company employees must be motivated in order to perform the routine tasks of an organization. Furthermore, the managers shall have to realize that the target market of the company is the upper class and upper middle class which is the reason why the incidence of an event in which the employees are not motivated will cause a deficiency in the organization’s ability to cater the customers in an appropriate manner (Guffey, 2009). On the other hand if effective leadership takes place in the organization and employees are motivated then the company will be able to target more and more customers and can subsequently work on enhancing its customer base.

In order to maximize the clients’ positive exposure by improving their charitable and social standing within the community, it will be imperative to motivate the clients to participate actively in social events and occasions.
