It can still be argued that immigration has many other negative effects in the United States ranging from over-population to crime rates. However, in these dire economic times it cannot be denied that the inclusion of illegal immigrants in the United States economy is essential to its survival.

Pro-immigration lobbyists stress that the impact is positive more than negative and it is responsible for a 13 billion dollar benefit to the economy with a growth of about 2.5% a year. Perhaps it is best then that legislators and law makers stop looking towards demonizing the role of illegal immigrants in the United States and instead work towards their inclusion in its system (Hanson).
