Marketing is changing the world slowly and gradually and modernized approaches of marketing are adopted by different organization in order to market their brands. However, one can easily say that standards are also changing quite rapidly that is the reason why ethics and social responsibility are becoming an essential element of marketing (Kotler & Keller, 2008).
McDonald’s is considered as the world’s largest chain of fast food chain and the organization is considered as a multinational and it serves more than 47 million customers daily. The structure of the organization is quite huge and that is the reason why the organization focuses a lot on marketing and promotional activities. The organization focuses a lot on branding and consumer behavior and it frames its marketing and brand management strategy on the basis of its customers. The entire process at McDonalds stresses on the ascendency of customers and their strategy value the customers (Love, 1995). However, the structure of McDonalds depicts that the organization is it is a multinational organization which incorporates all the international strategies of management and marketing .This paper analyzes the unethical practices of marketing that are practiced by McDonalds and should this style be changed or not.
